The Innovation and Design Building is home to over 40 top-tier businesses forming a diverse and inspiring community within Boston’s Seaport neighborhood set in the Raymond Flynn Marine Industrial Park. Dining options, amenities, retailers, and events populate the building and surrounding area offering IDB tenants an array of nearby services and entertainment. On site dining include Chickadee Restaurant, named Restaurant of the Year 2018 by The Boston Globe, the enormously popular Flour Bakery & Cafe, and more.

  • Al’s Cafe - Subs, sandwiches, and wraps. Mon-Fri, 10:30 am-3:00 pm

  • Chickadee Restaurant - New England born and Mediterranean inspired full-service restaurant and bar. Mon-Thu, drinks 4:00 pm, dinner 5:00 pm-9:00 pm. Fri-Sat, dinner 5:00 pm-10:00 pm

  • The Chicken & Rice Guys - Protein bowls with rice, greens, and tasty sauce. Mon-Fri, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

  • Flour Bakery + Café - Fresh sandwiches, salads, baked goods, pastries, café beverages, and daily specials. Mon-Fri 7:00 am-3:00 pm

  • Indian Street Cravings - Traditional Indian street food. Mon-Fri 11:00 am-2:00 pm

  • Mayday - Open seasonally during the summer, cocktails from the Chickadee guys. Tue-Fri, 4:00 pm-9:00 pm

  • Rolls Sushi - Maki rolls, salads and soup. Mon-Fri, 11:00 am-2:00 pm

  • Squeeze Juice Co - Smoothies, smoothie + acai bowls, toasts and pressed juices. Mon-Thu, 6:30 am-8:00 pm. Fri, 6:30 am-6:00 pm. Sat-Sun, 8:00 am-2:00 pm.

  • Thazia - Ramen and poke bowls featuring a strong Thai and Asian food influence. Mon-Fri, 11:00 am-3:00 pm

THE idb app

  • The Innovation and Design Building App is specific to the building and for use by tenants only. The app provides a central location for all IDB news and a place for tenants to book amenity appointments

  • Amenities that come on site and can be booked through the IDB App include chair massages, eye exams, teeth whitening, bike maintenance, dog care, dry cleaning and tailoring, and more.
